Data Entry

Data entry is limited to the barest minimum (green font items) and are in the following sections in the 'Hours' page.

• General
• Vessel

- IMO Number - Setup by the Master

- Vessel Name - Setup by the Master

- Vessel Nationality - Setup by the Master

- Vessel Type - Setup by the Master

• Crew Details

- Crew ID - Setup by the Master

- Crew Name - Setup by the Master

- Crew Rank - Setup by the Master

- Head of Dept. (Name) - Setup by the Master

- Head of Dept. (Rank)

- CBA Number (as in List of Holidays) - Setup by the Master

- Young Seafarer (Yes/No) - Setup by the Master

- Watch-keeper/Safety/Security/Pollution Duties (Yes/No) - Setup by the Master

- Signature Image Max 4 kb jpeg format - Setup by the Master

• Governing Period

- Month and Year via New Month icon/button

• Database Full Path

- Folder to store data files & help file - Computer Generated

• Hours of Work
• Remarks (optional) for each day (mandatory, if a NC is found for that day)
• Hour departed from port in the USA (for Deck Navigating Officers - CFR/USC Rule)
• In column 'B' the figure 1 or -1 to denote a date line crossing (if applicable)
• In column 'C' the figure 1 to denote a holiday (if the holiday has not already been set by the Master in the List)
• In column 'K' either 'P' or 'S' to denote 'In Port' or 'At Sea' (if applicable, - 46USC8104 - Cl. B)
• In column 'K' either 'Y' or 'N' to denote 'In USA or 'Not in USA' (if applicable, - 33CFR156(d) or 46USC8104(n)) - 'N' is default and may be omitted.
