Introduction
The project is designed in such a way that the users need only one file for any number of crew members. However, for sake of convenience of multiple users, the purchaser may create a shortcut to the parent project on the desktop. Data for each crew member for each month is stored separately in a database. The Master can filter the monthly data for the ship and export it, by a button click, to a proprietary encrypted text file. The file can be e-mailed to the office or retrieved into the project at any time.
The project is compatible with Excel 2003 SP3, 2007 SP2 OR SP3 and 2010 SP1. See Note and later versions of Excel 32-bit or 64-bit.
The project as delivered is fully functional except for the facility to print preview or print. To enable these two features the user should send us the product ID that is displayed in the License dialog box. Once we receive this ID, we can generate a release file to enable printing and print preview and any or all other evaluation mode stops are removed.
The user will need to save the release (license) file in the folder WRH in the same drive as the main project.
Microsoft India has confirmed that BEFORE installing Office 2010, the user MUST completely uninstall previous versions of Office 2003 and Office 2007 (Especially 2007) from their PCs. If this is not done, Excel projects with user-defined functions and macros are likely to show compile errors.
Also, Office 2010 requires a clean install of Windows XP SP3 or later.

You may need to go through all the steps including the steps for manually removing previous versions. Once this is done, Office 2010 is a pleasure to use.
The Help About dialog box will show your existing Excel version number.
